In Honor of Sasha Ann Mufich
The Long Live Sasha Scholarship was created to honor the life, light, and legacy of Sasha Ann Mufich, whose life was taken by gun violence at just 17 years old. Sasha was full of creativity, compassion, and love for others. This scholarship exists so her spirit continues to shine by helping young people build a beautiful future through opportunity, education, and mentorship.
In partnership with the Napa Cosmetology Collective, one student will be awarded a full-ride scholarship to attend their Cosmetology Program beginning in Summer or Fall 2026.
This scholarship is not just about covering tuition — it is about walking alongside a young person as they step into their future with confidence, support, and purpose.
What the Scholarship Includes
The selected awardee will receive:
🩷 Full tuition to the Napa Cosmetology Collective cosmetology program
🩷 Ongoing mentorship through the Long Live Sasha Mentorship Program during school and beyond, for as long as support is needed
🩷 Guidance, encouragement, and access to a community that believes in their success
Who Should Apply
This scholarship is designed for students (ages 17-22 years old) who:

💖 Are ready to grow, learn, and be supported
Financial need is also considered as part of the selection process.

All applications must be submitted through the online application form by March 31 to be considered.
Selection Process
The Long Live Sasha Scholarship is awarded through a thoughtful, multi-step process designed to ensure the best match between the student and this life-changing opportunity.
Step 1 – Application Review
All submitted applications will be reviewed by the Blending Beauty with Love LLS Inc. Scholarship Committee.
Step 2 – Finalists Selected
From all applicants, three finalists will be chosen based on:
🩷 Passion for cosmetology
🩷 Personal story and resilience
🩷 Community involvement
🩷 Financial need
🩷 Overall readiness for this opportunity
Step 3 – Interview
Each finalist will participate in a friendly, supportive interview with a member of Blending Beauty with Love Board, and a representative from the Napa Cosmetology Collective
This is not meant to be intimidating — it is a chance for us to get to know you, your goals, and your heart.
Step 4 – Introductory Assessment
Finalists will complete a short introductory assessment provided by the Napa Cosmetology Collective to help determine where they are with the basics of starting cosmetology school. This is used for placement and preparation, not to disqualify students.
Step 5 – Scholarship Recipient Selected
One student will be chosen as the Long Live Sasha Scholarship Awardee and awarded a full ride to cosmetology school.
